the manual racks use 26 spline.9/16,the same as mustang 2 and pinto racks
i haved used the stock shaft and upper u-joint and cut the rag joint off
and weld a borgeson joint on it.the stock shaft is 3/4 dia
the 3/4 36spline is for the power steering model

On the Flaming River Manual rack that I have it's 3/4"-36. The Foxbody stock manual and power unit's are also 3/4"-36.

all manual racks on fox bodys use 26 spline 9/16
the power units use the 36 spline 3/4.i have a new that ijust ordered for
a customer that is 26 spline 9/16 i also have two fox bodys in my shop
both have flaming river racks both are manual and both are 26 spline
9/16.you may be able to custom order a manual rack with the 36 spline
i have never asked but if you have one it must be a option

Thanks guys,

That'll narrow it down. I'll have to look again but I don't think the stock piece will go on because the FR rack has a smaller shaft.

I plan to buy the piece for the rack and fab a piece from it to what's above the stock rag joint.
