Heck I've got one better, sitting on a pallet in my shop ,is a '68 NOS 427 side oiler block that I bought back in the early '70's for my Cobra project (or a spare for my '67 Mustang GTA)that i'll get around to sooner or latter!!

Anyone know those guys selling the engine? I looked at their other items on ebay and they have some high prices. How about a stock rebuilt Mercury 410 for $4200? I almost gave an old 410 away some years ago. I guess I'm too poor and out of touch with everything lately.

Be careful, some of those late 60s/early 70s NOS 427 FE sideoiler blocks had core shift and porosity problems. The Ebay block is an aftermarket block from GENESIS.

The only problem I have with sideoiler Cobras is that they keep clogging up my rear view mirror. :)
Haha, I wish I had the problem. One of these days I will have a EFI'd, Blown 427 (Stroker 351 or 390) in a Cobra Kit.. one of these days.
