Are the 87 and 85 tailight assemblies wired differant?

There already bolted in car and there is no cutout in body for a bulb in the bottom lens. Its wired like the 85 still. Theres a 2 way bulb in corner and a small bulb. The turn signal , brake and tailights are all in the corners, Is this right?..., Thanks.,, Ed
