Randy,
i also have a brand new set of TFS streets with roller springs and Titan retainers, do you think they can make as much power as the A-heads? just looking at the 2 heads here the A-heads look like they have more potential than the TFS streets, JMHO. if i use the TFS street heads i could finish this build this week....

the only thing Hemi I think you can do it with 1X4 vs using 2x4's less hassle and much easier to tune.. You do realized an engine of this HP is not just a build it and run it you have to continually do Maint every pass and check it lots???? another words not your every day Bracket engine...

Yes Lots of maintance!!!!! With that much compression your tune up is going to be touchy.NA and with the spray.Light wieght pistons and things are not the way to make it live with that much nitrous.I know from experience.

the pistons have been lightened a little but they are made for the amount of spray i intend to use. i made sure the top ringland was down far enough not to hurt it there. I also had the pin relocated so as not to lose a lot of compression using the alum rods. i'm 20 in the hole now! no doubt i'm going to learn a lot with this set up. Fortunatally, i have friends that have probley the fastest Motorsport A-headed race cars in the country to help me along. I don't think i would be stepping out to far to say that one friend has taken the Motorsport A-head to the "Elite" stage barring moving the valve angles. i mean, when you run 2.425 intake valves and 195 exh valves in a Motorsport head you have really done your homework, and his back half Fox Body mustang is quickly apprauching the 6 second zone!!!!!

yes thye part number is listed on my build, and it is a very nice crank indeed. weighs only 65 lbs. Eagle has put a lot of work into making this crank and i must comend them on it. it is rated to 1500 HP. A really nice peice. compared to a Hawks or RPM, my choice would be hands down the eagle even over Scat, and Scat because of price..Eagle cost me $690 while the scat is about a $1000 and no better IMO.

I bought mine from Summit and they even got Eagle to drop ship it to me to save me some $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

go to summits web page and type in that part number or better yet call summit and ask them to read you the low down on the new 4340 4.500 Eagle stroker crankshaft, you will like what you hear and you will like even better what you see when you recieve it

I'm going with the T&D rockers and are shaft mount, so i guess the new jomar stud girdle goes on ebay ...... :(

Cam will be CC 880 lift with as much duration as it will stand. I'm really not sure if the oil pump i'm using will interfere with the crank trigger i have to use because of the clearance problems w/ dist on the tunnel ram.... :?

i'm currently running the endurex roller lifters from CC is there a better lifter out there? maybe Howards- ultra pro?

also this danny bee belt drive is it compatiable w/ the crank trigger and external moroso oil pump drive set up? i'm thinking gear drive but the danny bee deal looks really good.?

The Danny Bee will work fine with the crank trigger and the external Moroso oil pump. Shouldn't be any issues. Same setup I'm using, except, I've got a dry sump pump.

does the danny bee set up can you use the back plate for the Mezeirie water pump? looks like trouble? the DB looks like it has its own timing cover with water ports? doesn't look like you nee the back plate for the electric water pump? :?

you can run the plate all the way across, the gear sets behind it. My pump is external but I think the one that bolts to the motor will work with or without the plate. I think Fancy Chris has that setup lol.

It aint nothin' to make it all work, if I didnt have to make somthing fit or work I'd swear the world was fixin to end. Hell my whole car is "custom"

Get the DB, that is one sweet piece, and ol Lemski gots the smokin' deal on um.

Jon, you sure got that right about having to fit EVERYTHING on a race car. Hemi I do run the Danny Bee with a CSR water pump & no you dont use a backing plate. The Danny Bee cover seals everything. You don't see it in this pic but I run a mecahnical fuel pump & vacuum pump off of the passenger side of the engine. On my hemi build, I will be running those two items along with a dry sump oil pump.
