Here's a short video from the weekend.

My first time driving this year. Track was bad. Gave up after three attempts. Best pass was a 7.99 @153 lifting twice for .21 seconds and lifting 7.02 seconds into the run according to the logger. The car ought to be fast if we ever get a full run on it!

Thanks,

The car is a 2001 Spitzer 4 link chassis with recent updates and NHRA certification to 7.50. Body is painted Dupont Warp Speed blue with yellow pearl flames and highlights.

The transmission is an expensive API 350VR4 which has been a PITA since square one but we just can't afford to replace it. Should have just bought a good glide and gone racing.

The motor is a 588 inch SVO A460 with TFS A460 2.35/1.88 heads ported by Evans Racing Engines. Lem helped us source many of the internals and spec'd the magic Comp Cam. The crank is a 4.5" Bryant and the Rods are Olivers. Lem also spec'd the 15:1 JE pistons with tiny top ring and lateral gas ports. The oiling system uses a Titan Pro pump and two piece Billet Fab pan with those weird baffle balls. There is also a Moroso accumulator and Jomar oil filter. Oil pressure is beautiful from start to end of the run. The fuel system consists of a dual Ron's terminator methanol injection system with gas primer on a TFS tunnel ram. (I know, it's way more than we need but it looks cool!)

We just added an RPM Performance data logger last week and it sure looks like money well spent.
