All told, we had a good weekend. Big crowds on Friday night and Saturday. Friday was the Friday Night Drags program. Always draws a big crowd. Saturday we paired with the National Hot Rod Diesel Association, and that worked out really well. Sunday we did a stand alone event which was much more low key, but still a lot of fun.

Lots of BBF cars there. Randy from Colorado City came out with his 460 Fairlane and his son Josh brought out his Cougar. There was a guy with a 557 hot rod pitted next to Bob. Several others too. Pickups, rails, you name it and there was probably somebody there with one that had BBF power. Not sure if any of the blown alcohol door slammers were running BBF power. Didn't get a chance to talk to those guys.

Special thanks to: Scorpion Racing Products, Lunati, and Diamond Racing Pistons. They sent us all kinds of freebies to hand out. T-shirts, hats, gift certificates, etc. Seems somebody made off with all the banners too. I was hoping to keep one or two of those for myself, but I'm sure they'll look good in somebody else's shop too. ;)

A big thanks to Pueblo Motorsports Park as well. They're very easy to work with and really do a great job of running a safe and fun event for the whole family.

That's what I was talking about Carl, you've got to promote the race before and after. It will grow if you keep it on everyone's mind.

Bob, I had heard that you were the only car there, and still came up a first round runner-up. lol
