Hey guys, been a minute since i posted anything.

472 8/71 blown - 1970 Lincoln mark iii
has hyd flat tappet with factory d3 heads (ported)

I've bought some 280cc AFR heads (while back) so i'm wondering what valve train to run in this thing? its still just a burnout/street driver that i do take on some longer trips, 1200 mile round trips.

should i stay with the hyd flat tappet or go with mechanical flat? roller? let me know what y'all think

new parts i will be changing,


Heads
Rockers
Lifters
Push rods
Head gaskets
Custom grind cam
New timing set (since im in there)

Will you be addressing the need for a proper intake valve notch for the AFR castings?
