I check it while it's on an alignment machine,that I can see exactly how it changes and adjust accordingly.
In the backyard,measure the front of tires (at rim) and start to jack the car (center of K-member) and see how much the toe-in moves.And then adjust the spacers to get the minimum amount of change.HTH
