I have a c6 that I'm going to put into my 79 f350 sled puller. Engine is 502 ci. Iron head, making about 725 Hp. The c6 has an E4OD sun gear for a lower first gear ratio. It currently has a shift kit in it also. I'm curious as to what else I should consider and or upgrade to make it a good reliable tranny. What is a good converter for this application as far as size and stall speed.
Thanks in advance!

Get a converter that will let you launch at higher RPM. like 6500 or higher. Also, Imo, you would be better off going to a stick shift. The C6 robs you of too much power (been there, done that). Alot of guys (myself included) ran the muncie 465 with a profab 3 speed kit.
