starting fresh with "new"71 460 and ? c6. been away from fun cars for a while.
need fresh info... 460 and c6 sitting in my barn getting prepped,stock... eng should be good but dont know trans.

c6 questions.
fluid type, anything special.?
how much in mt torq conv?, mt tranns?
how far does yoke go into tail shaft?
dip tube bolt at top, go to top tran bolt or bolt on head?. my tube was bent, repaired, rebent, . its ok but hard to figure where it went.
plan to run with bypass hoses briefly to check shifting. think that will work? (i dont know tranny)
other advice...

Type F would be safest not knowing history
Will hold approx. 12 litres depending on which pan . If converter is out just add a good size cup full in the converter . If it's in the trans never mind it will fill quick.
Yoke should have approx. 1.25" from bottomed for travel
Dipstick bracket usually goes to bellhousing bolt
Yes loop the cooler hoses only as a trial . They must be looped so return oil lubes the rear of the trans
