Cam suggestion stock 460 D3VE heads

What would be a good Solid Flat Tappet cam to run? .40 over 460 with D3VE heads exhaust ported. Going in a Fox Mustang with Powerglide, 4.30 gears, and will weigh around 3200 with driver.

Wondering about valve clearance with stock style pistons. Also, may upgrade to Lem's SCJ heads in future.

Give a call to Lem, he'll hook you right up on the correct cam. ;)
A whole lot more information will be needed for the correct camshaft however, the valve notches in a STOCK piston will only accept an intake valve as large as 2.125" and that is close. A D3VE head will have more clearance than other production valve location heads because the valves are about .100" farther up-into the head.
With SCJ heads the intake notch is in a different place altogether.
I will have to pull the heads to find out about the notches (if any) it has now. I take it the SCJ is kinda like the Twisted Wedge head for small blocks?

As far as the intake valve notch goes ... yep, that's a fair parallel.
