They look to be genuine 460 heads but have no regular ID on them. Also the exhaust valves look smaller than original. The guy who sold them was told they came from a 1973 boat engine before being rebuilt making them D3VE.

Any thoughts?

Just a guess here but they look like heads from an old air compressor.This company was making compressors using only 1 head and a bunch of the other heads were floating around in the early 90's.

HI, remembering my D3'S looked like that with the exhaust emission bump removed they were quite small compaired to the header gaskets. See if you can get two fingers in the exhaust holes easily if so then they've been cleaned up but port looks stock for D2 or 3's. Valves look Same for D2 or 3's.

That is most likely a D3 casting.

All carb style heads and essentially the same excepting the size of the accessory bolt threads on the later castings.
