Anyone running a Dominator 750 on the street? How well does it work? Any issues like lack of low end power or throttle response.

466 d3's ported, big valve, and shaved. flat tops, around 10:0:1-10:5:1. I don't know the duration but .550 cam. C6 with 2200 stall. street car. I am having hood clearance issues even with a BOSS 9 scoop on the car and before I buy a 4150 type carb I want to know if would be a head ach or be a good carb and just buy a bigger uglier hood scoop for the car

lots of guys run them on the street , 750's and larger

no problems

I run a 1050 on a 467 with 550hp at the treads and it is great. Took some time getting it right as the engine is quite grumpy but its a one foot operation now and I wouldn't go back if you paid me. My engine is far better with it.

With the bores in the carb being that big will it kill throttle response? I know the skirts are bigger and that is what makes it a 750 instead of a 1050. I just don't want the car to fall on its face.
