Is there a way to know what cars have case fill c4's in them? I am planning on going to the u-pull junkyard and would love to know what cars to look for versus crawling under every car in the yard

The pan fill 351M C-4 is what you want

for a 460 swap.I had a 1978 LTDII with a 351M that had the pan fill C-4 in it.

Later Mark.

C-4

You're looking for a Pan fill. They are the stronger ones and the ones that where behind the 351Ms. That bell housing will work on the 429/460s. Deep pan is hard to find and more dollars, but it's a much stronger pan. C-4 itself, get the 71-79 ones they are the better ones.

What he said - all 351M bell C4's will be pan fill, not case. Case will be in smaller cars. For the 351M, look in 78, 79 big cars (T bird and such) with 351Ms check the door tag for W trans IIRC.
