So, maybe not the best idea, but with multiple drivers, I’m swapping my F350 to a C6. It has 628hp, locked f/r, 4.10’s, aggressive 36x14.50’s, 1.96:1 low range, ~6000lbs. What should I do to help it hold up? Local transmission guy, with good reputation, advises 3500 stall converter, and a manual valve body. Should I go with a low gear kit, low drag, change the planetary to E4OD? Not much experience here.

That would be easier, but the projects started already. Plus the case, adapter, and shifter are already bought.

Build the c6 to Franks specs. He has them hold up to 1000+ hp. Also get a dyno sheet and have ur converter built off of that. A good converter guy will base stall off of torque and hp peaks.
