OK, F-Y-I...Got my new dura bond cam bearings (un-coated) tried on new cam, fit good. installed in block, slid in cam, spun real smooth, sooooo the morrow to "my" story is the coated bearing's are not under sized, than the coating is added, out of the 5 coated bearlngs 3 would not come close to going on but 2 did, but way to snug. (GO FIGURE) Has any one had this problem??????the bearings I took out were coated, was just putting in new bearings with a new cam, Ed. :roll:

C bearings

Coatings are a good thing in general . If one does not have enough clearence to start with it may not be a good thing . But all who read this thread must consider that it does make a diff who and with what , a bearing is coated with .
