There's local car club with two cruise nights coming up. August 4th, 4-8pm, and September 1st, 4-8pm. Both dates will be at the Garden of the Gods visitor center on 30th. All cars welcome. Show cars, race cars, project cars, whatever. I've been to a few cruise nights in years past. It's very low key, and everyone is very friendly.

Anyone interested in showing up one of these nights for a little BBF get together? I plan to take my 73 Montego GT with the 429 one night and my 68 Monterey with the 390 the other night.

Here's a link to the club's website. http://stockerscarclub.com/

Yeah, I think it's going to be fun Bob. I'm taking the camera, so I'll post up a pic or two.

Didn't realize how much I had lowered the ol' Montego until this afternoon when I pulled up next to a new Mustang GT and had to look up to see the girl driving it.

did it drag on the slight approach on the alley driveway? bobn
The exhaust drags a little bit in the middle where the drive meets the garage, but nothing too serious. Another reason I'm going to weld in some adjustable spring perches.

Carl,
That is one cool ride, and you never see them. Very different, and appears to be in great shape. Nice score.
Thanks Big Hurt. There's only 133 of them in the registry, and only 14 of them are big blocks like mine. I found it in pretty clean condition, but since I'm going to race it, it's only getting a quicky paint job instead of the full restoration treatment.
