New crank has dia of 1.37640 snout my two others have 1.37390 and 1.37425 concern is the extra .00140 too much? I use a BDS drive hub it fits tight on other 2 cranks.

The Ford manual calls out 1.3742"/1.3750" but, aftermarket cranks seem to be all over the map.

key word is "aftermarket".kinda like the body part's i use from china,i call them "will fit"parts,cuz they will fit if you have a prybar,hole stretcher,and some help.:D

Its a 4340 crank, just polish the extra off? fine grit emery cloth spin crank in a lathe is what I am thinking.

Yes I could have honed the hub but I have to be able to exchange them between my spare motors.
I knew something was not right when the spacer would not slip over the crank,,,,
