All I can offer is the Raceparts Distribution [704-892-8688] piece as this is the only 429-460 aluminum block made that should hold water. Last I heard they were dry sleeve. Still going to be big bucks so better find some more lawns to mow. I had to get another paper route to pay for my stuff.

RaceParts Distribution Incorporated a.k.a. RDI. Block is available with stock deck height of 10.32 ( the least expensive), 11.20, 11.70,& 12.00 or 5.0" bore spacing with 12.0 deck height. Comes with nodular iron or aluminum 4 bolt caps 3" mains. Any BBF head will fit. Siamese bores. Shipped set up for dry sump system but can be drilled for wet sump. Had mine shipped set up for roller cam bearings. Had to clearence for 4.5 crank. Had to work tops of lifter bore so lifter links would not strike top of lifter bore. Would be glad to answer any other questions you might have.

Mild steel chassis (2640lb with me in it) Lenco, Enderle hat on alcohol. 5.0's 1/8th & 8.0's in the 1/4. Ordered moly to bend up new lighter chassis. Maybe I will loose a couple of hundred pounds after all is said & done and be able to hit the 7's hard.

Aluminum Blocks

Chilly, contact Carroll Carter at C&C Motorsports(703-368-7878). He is in Manassas. He is now the supplier for the Roberts design block & heads. RDI,Kaase, etc are dealers for these blocks. He has everything from 10.32,11.2,11.7,& 12. You can get them in custom deck heights if you want. I think he shows a 10.5" DH on his website. Good man to talk to & do business with. I just bought a cam, lifters,& springs from him for my wedge motor & I have bought a set of hemi heads(A441) & all the valve train parts also.
