Chevy LS is very well represented....which combo you think (unbiased) will prevail, and why?

I will be interested to see how the SOHC does, that motor was always a powerhouse so with modern cams etc should do well I would think.

Also is McKeown's a mod motor?

I will sure need to be lucky this year to be in 1st place ... EVERYTHING in this engine has been run in the contest before except the induction system.

I agree, these SOHC things are monsters. But, I know if it does do well or win everyone will cry foul.

I just hope a Ford wins and pulls out a full sweep of the top 5 or so :D

Good luck on your entry to all builders on here!!!

somewhat sure that McKewon is building a 302 based 281 with CHI (cleveland/boss style heads)...i will try to clarify.

That should have peak HP around 15,000rpm!!! Small cubes with cleveland heads?? What a screamer.

Mark's engine is a 4.6 liter 3 valve engine.

SAM's Team 1 is an alternate.

Adney simply HAS too many Chevrolet parts around to not use them up.
