Has any one fitted a Moroso engine oil.As my 460 has a 671.I was told as they rev quickly can pump all oil up to top.Just looking for some idea's where to mount it as well.As room is a bit tight.
Car is for drags, running on alcohol.

Thanks Steve.

Take into consideration how much oil is in the pan and what oil pump you use. Adding an accumulator can only help I use a 3qt Moroso myself, for prelube before start use a valve Moroso offers an electric version but if you use a magento you'll need a seperate switch from ignition switch just be aware when to turn it on and off.

Question for you your front timing cover a standard ford 460?
What plate to mount the fuel pump?

take care,,,,,,,,,,

Standard timing cover,I had 2 X -16 fittings welded on either side for water.
I made a 10mm thick plate that sits where water pump goes,A mate made pump mount.
I have a MSD dizzy.
Cheers Steve.
It doesn't really make a difference where you mount it,as long as you make the (non)discharge end a little elevated so all the oil will leave the accumulator when the valve is opened.Mine is between the radiator and grill.
Steve460 can you post a clear pic of the pump mount? be much appreciated...
