Guys, can you give me any recommendations for a good detailed racing engine rebuild book for my 514ci motor. I need to open it up for some modifications.

I have heard that Jon Haase is writing one, but it isn't published yet. I have yet to see a book that dealt with rebuilding or upgrading a racing 514.
Better than nothing though is this one:

I'd say it's a fairly good book on STOCK 429/460 rebuilding. If you want to get deep into it, I'd suggest you hook up with one of the performance engine builders that hang out on this site..... I'm sure anyone of them could assist you in spending $$ :wink: while building a hotter 514 package!

That book does not cover 429/460 engines, only FE/FT engines.
