My brother was murdered recently and with funeral expenses, other family related financial matters and just a plain loss of interest I'd like to sell my Roadster. The car is tagged and titled in North Carolina. I haven't even started the body work yet, though. It does not have many miles on it yet.

The engine is huge. It is the most loud and obnoxious car I've ever seen. The cockpit is always warm because of the heat. There is no power steering, so if you're a "Girlie Man" don't inquire. You have to be REAL careful when driving because the back end will spin out beneath you if you drop the clutch even just a little too fast. (Manual clutch too, but easy to press).

If you are a private person and don't like talking to people, do not inquire. Everywhere I go people always want to ask me questions about it and are taking pictures of it, even though it's still in Gel coat. I don't know how many times I've had to tell guys "No, it's not a real Cobra."

If you don't like smelling like gasoline, do not inquire. Even a short ride will make you smell like a gas station attendent the rest of the day.

If you want to hear yourself think, you'll need ear plugs...used ones included in asking price if you want them

Basic details are...
*Used 460 block from 1972 stroked to 521ci with Mahle pistons & Eagle crankshaft and pistons.

*Jon Kaase P-51 Heads

*Compression is between 9 to 9.5:1 Runs on pump gas.

*Comp Cams cam Xtreme Energy 284H (follow the link for more info http://www.compcams.com/Company/CC/c...?csid=995&sb=2 )

*Comp Cams roller pushrods and rockers (listed on cam specs sheet)

*Holley 4150 Double Pumper carborator

*Carter electric Fuel Pump

*Gearing is standard from the kit...I believe it is 3.55:1

*Tranny is TKO 600

*Quicktime Bellhousing

*Ram Clutch (manual) Forte Extender added to clutch fork (makes pressing the pedal easier)

I can give you more details/pics later if interested. I'm in no hurry to sell this car, so don't offer any low-ball numbers. I reserve the right not to sell to anyone I believe not suitable for this car. I would not like to sell it to anyone under 30. If you are under 20, don't inquire. This car is a go-cart on steroids. Yes it's fun, but it is dangerous. I haven't had it dynoed yet, but I expect the horsepower & torque lie between 550 - 650 at about 4,000 rpm.

If interested send me a PM

Asking price is $30,000 or best offer. I have well over that into it already.

Thanks,

Joe
