You can try calling Charles Crites. They make headers that R 2" but I bet he can make you some that R 2 1/8". I sent him the TFS street head schematic so they may make some to fit those 3/8" elevated ex ports.

Total Performance in Clinton Twp Mi has swap kits also. I'm not sure of there header sizes though. Great place to deal with try giving them a call.

6201 are for the 70 Torino - different under hood that 66-69. 70's have a lot more room.

Man - you got me excited there for a while!!!!!

I am still looking now too! Anyone find anything? Crites said they can only make 2" for standard location ports...

I have the Crites 2" primary and 3.5" collector headers in my Fairlane now. I couldn't imagine using 2 1/8, unless you modified the shock towers more than I did. There are two tubes that are so tight in the bends off the flange, that I had to cut the head off a stage 8 header bolt half way, in order for it to fit between the flange and the tube. Here's the #3 tube, and what I did to the header bolt to get it to fit in the small area. If I left the head of the bolt alone, it wouldn't have fit.

Thanks Pat, pics like that are what I need! I may go with Crites since I found out that all the pipes are seperate from the collector on installation (spoke with Charles yesterday). Just wondering if there would be room enough so the Crites headers can be lifted that 1/4" or so to use TFS street heads. Do you have anymore pics of your headers on both sides taken from the top and underside of your car? That would be a HUGE help to me! 8) I have a few header bolts that have a totally flat head that you use an allen wrench to put them in and take out.

Nick, here's some more pics of the Crites 2" primary and 3.5 collectors. The only thing I wish I did, was take a sawzall to the 3-bolt flange, and set it up for a slip tube reducer to the h-pipe. I really like the way Crites does these headers, and they are a breeze to put on. 8) Also, there are no clearance issues with the C6, but I had to "massage" one tube to clear the starter housing section on my Lakewood scattershield with the 4-speed setup. They will not clear a standard clutch fork, but they clear my modified hydraulic setup using the stock fork. I painted them with Eastwood High Temp paint, and it held up through the cam breakin, so I believe it may actually last for awhile. :lol: I'll post more pics of them installed in the car next chance I get. I've been on a run now of 12 and 16 hour shifts since Nov 2, and I'll be going until the 17th. That's what pays for the toys though. :wink:

I really appreciate that Pat! Thanks! :) Crites said they may or may not fit since I am running a motor plate and not his motor mounts. I am going to try and see though. As soon as I get your installed pics I will likely get a better idea if they will fit or not. I think they will fit, they even seem a little less "complicated" than my 6115 Hookers. I am very glad they are individual tubes because any problems may just be at the collector, which IMO will likely be easier to fix.

Nick, if you had to, it would be fairly easy to add in the extra length to make up for the rasied ports. I marked up the photo with black lines were they could be cut and add in the extra tube. Just a thought :idea:

Thanks Doug. Yeah I thought about that too. Will have to do that if they won't do the TFS 1/4" lift up.
