I've bought a number of parts from Crite's ( I live about half an hour from their shop, south of Columbus) They supply parts for a lot of dealers in the U.S. and their quality is good. You may hear pros and cons about them but I have had very good luck with their stuff. My
'64 Galaxie XL has Crite's fiberglass hood, fenders and bumpers on it and you can't tell them from original. I did had a very good body shop do the work, though. The only thing is the bubble hood does not quite match on the drivers side at the cowl, the tip is about 1/8" to 3/32" short. I'm pretty particular but it doesn't bother me a bit.
Edit: I have a price sheet about 2 years old...'68 '69 Fairlane/Torino Ram Air hood $320. PH. 740 983 4777
I just need the factory flat because I have to cut out for the blower so the bubble (my favorite scoop of all time!!!) isn't needed. I'm glad that several of you have used their items and like them. makes me feel better!
Guess I will have to check out their site and give them a call
Here's a few pictures of some stuff I've been getting to work on. Thankful for work and that I still get to work on things I love. Look forward to seeing some of your projects at home and work..
