Jon I would love to bring it but Amarillo is having a double money pay out, and if it wasn't for the riped tube last weekend I think I would have had a shot at the money
When is it Sat or Sun?

Im glad you guys are lucky enough to have race tracks to race at....here in the Socialist Republic of Kaliphornya, its not politically correct to have such a luxury.

The environmental whacko's and greedy housing developers have killed all the fun :x

Did you guys see John Turpin's Mustang run? He's a member of another board I frequent and lives in Plainview. SUPER nice guy and his dad too. ( Dad -> 10 sec white notch that had a clogged fuel filter in qualifying) john's car just flat works. It went 9.71 @ 140. It is a 331" SB with a single 76 (?) turbo. 13# of boost. His previous best was 10.02 in Ennis.

nuther big pic.

I'm not trying to make this a big debate, but a lot of the tree huggers know that fires over large areas are a natural occurrence and it's when these fires are put out that a lot of dead material builds up. Then when it catches on fire with so much fuel, the results can be catastrophic. The fire is unfortunate, but quite likely wouldn't have happened if we'd listen to the tree huggers a little more often. Not the tree huggers who are whacky, but the environmentalists and biologists who are logical and often warn of these things long before they happen. If small controlled fires had been allowed to burn in years past, there wouldn't be a huge out of control fire now.
