Hey guys! Guess it's been so long my account went stale, oops.

Anyway, I had heard about a mechanical fan setup on a foxbody with a 460. Just a flex fan ( I've heard different sizes as high as 17") and a late foxbody 5.0 fan shroud.

Is anyone familiar with this? I havn't seen any pictures and am seriously considering this

There you go. 93 notch,Summit radiator,Hayden clutch,18 in fan, stock shroud.Works great! For street, drive around all day with the air on,not a hint of over heating. One problem...water pump, all pulleys and brackets are from a 68,69 Lincoln short pump setup.IMO,well worth the effort finding all that stuff.Works so much better than the electric fans I previously had.I don't think the long pump deal will work without modifying the engine compartment.

That's really good to know I didn't think having a clutch was going to be an option. I see it locates the alternator up top too!

Mine came from a 78 lincoln. Guess I should start doing some digging
