I have a 1993 Foxbody. What are you guys using for a throttle cable? I was saving the stock throttle cable from the original 2.3 liter motor and I thought I would be able to use that. However the valve cover is blocking the hole in the firewall that it comes out of so that is pretty much out. The cable itself is also way to long and I don't want to put big bends in it simply to take out the slack. I can see that it could be pretty easy to modify the top part of the pedal assembly and create a different route for the cable. I was thinking that there might be something somebody sells that is pre-built and will just work. Let me know your thoughts on this please.

Neveind. I found multiple throttle cables on Summit that should work just fine. More money, more money......more money!

If anybody has a preference or knows which ones suck let me know. I probably won't order until Tuesday just so I don't miss any valuable feedback.

I used the stock cable ,all you have to do is trim the cable down and put the cable lock on the end of it ...just be carful not to cut the cable to short...they sell an aftermarket.cable with the cable lock that will fit and will fit the diameter of the cable guide..if ya need pics let me know...jt557
