For sale is a '68 Galaxie 500. It is a 240 6 cyl car with an automatic transmission. Runs very well as is, or good project for a V8 swap. Frame and floor pans are solid. Interior is decent. Quarter panels are rusty, have been patched shoddily by previous owner.

Needs window regulator for drivers side door. Car pulls to right when braking. I haven't checked but it feels like a tie rod end and/or idler arm problem. I only drove the car a few miles to get it here, was going to use it as a project but changed my mind.

Pics are here: http://cadunkle.kicks-***.net/pics/Galaxie/new68 I will add more pics by tonight so you can see the car as it currently sits.

I have sinoce replaced the drivers side fender with a good one and the front clip is back on the car.

I'm asking $500/obo, just trying to get out of it what I have into it. Would like to get rid of it quickly as I need the room. Car is located in Westmont, NJ... About 15 minutes from Philadelphia. If interested please give me a call (my name is Cory) on my cell any time day or night. 856-278-4315

Well I actually looked closely at the frame for the first time. When I bought it I just looked quickly for rot holes and whacked a couple spots with a hammer and it sounded solid. As luck would have it the frame rotted out in non-typical areas first and was patched with plastic bags and undercoat. Odd, as I am the third owner and the second owner only paid a few hundred for teh car and had it for a couple months just to get from point A to point B.

Anyhow, I am now parting out the car. If anyone wants anything off it let me know.
