I know its been discussed before but I did a search and cant find it. I have 10 gallons of 112 and would like to reduce it to 89 octane for the boat. Thanks in advance Gregg 8)

Is the high octane gas leaded or unleaded...? It makes a little bit of a difference.
The addition of tetraethyl lead to fuel is reverse logrythmic; (the more you add the less it raises the octane).
One gallon of 112 leaded mixed with 15 gallons of 87 regular is about 6 1/4% and should get you above the 89 octane target.

By the way is Terry's Sub shop still open I think its on 15 mile at Gratiot.
Man they used to be awsome. :lol:

15 Mile & Gratiot has been totally redone ... it now has a LOWE'S on the northwest corner where the strip mall used to be. Another strip mall is next to it so, they may or may not be in there.

Progress you know ... :D
