Was looking over the instruction sheet for a new mechanical fuel pump I'm installing on the 460 in my 1982 E350, and it says

" Add grease on the rocker arm pad, and rocker arm cavity to to lubricate the internal parts".

I don't recall ever having to do that on any fuel pump I've ever put on. If it's needed, just how much do I add, and where in the rocker arm cavity do I put it? I can see where it's got some grease on the rocker arm at the shaft pin

Oil the arm where it contacts the eccentric and oil the pivot and internal mechanism.
When running there will be plenty of oil moving around in the front cover to keep the FP lubricated.
