The octain isn't really going to cause a change, but the differnce in the fuels specific gravity will affect the amount of heat produced when burned, and the rate at which it will burn.

Ie, yes, there will be a tune differnce when swapping fuel, but not because of the octain. The octain rateing is just telling you the fuels ability to resist detonation/knock.

Get the MSDS on both fuels, and compare the specific gravity. That will tell you more about whats going to be required.
