I screwed up when I had the welder weld the sump on my tank, I forgot to have him weld a bung on the top of the tank for the return line. Here is the questions can I use the other NPT thread on the sump for the return line? Or can I drill a hole in the top of the tank and epoxy a bung to the hole? Or do I have to bite the bullet and pull the tank and send it off to the welder?
Thanks
Dave

I think I am following you. I think I could pull the sending unit out and get the nut and washer on from the inside of the tank and tighten it down.
Thanks
