Let's have a little fun :wink:

Guess my HP and torque at the rear wheels. I'm planning on a dyno session Saturday February 11th. The winner gets an item of MY choice from MY shop, Closest to the pin wins. Since the torque can be a bit questionable lets go off of Horse Power at the rear wheels instead.

Here's some information and if you need any more info. just let me know.

466CI

D1VE Block with Engine Systems 4-bolt splayed caps on 2,3 and 4. With Main Studs on all 5 caps. Screw in core plugs.

Eagle BBC H-Beam rods connected to domed BRC pistons 13:1 Compression Ratio

460 crank with 2.200" rod journals Internally balanced with SFI Dampner and Flywheel.

Aluminum A429 Heads with 2.245” Intake valves and 1.76” Exhaust valves FRPP Roller Rockers and Jomar Stud Girdle. Comp Roller valve springs and Titanium Retainers.

Edelbrock Victor 4500 intake match ported to the heads and with port work in the flange area topped with a 1050 cfm Jim Evans Racing Dominator and 1” spacer

MSD Billet dizzy.
Jacobs Electronics Ignition box and Coil.
Taylor Plug Wires.
NGK R5671A-8 Plugs

2" into 3.5" individual tube headers for Fox Chassis via D&D Automotive Specialists.

Fully rollerized C4 tranny built by JPT Transmissions with transbrake and reverse manual valve body. 8” Custom Drag Converter 4600-4800 stall.

Canton FOX pan with Canton Windage Tray.

Ford 9” Rear with full spool and 4.30:1 gears.
31” Hoosier Drag Slicks


Should I set my tire pressure higher? Say 15psi instead of 8psi like at the track?

At what RPM should this engine peak? (Basically where should I set my shift light so I can take my BIG foot off the throttle :lol: )

He has a A/F monitor, what should I shoot for? 12.8:1 ?

The dyno is a Dynojet 224X model. It can handle up to 1000hp and torque at the wheels or 180mph. Can accommadate both front and rear wheel drive vehicles.

It is equipped with a wideband oxygen sensor to record realtime air/fuel readings for precise tuning.

Better cam :?: Hell this here cam is one of those LEM EVANS Saturday nigh specials! that should be good for an extra 50hp PLUS my engine now has Evans Racing decals on the front of the valve covers AND I'm about to put BF Evans Ford decals on the hatch so there's another 100HP. Since Scott helped me start the car there's another 50hp. I'm sure i can think of some other stuff. That equals near 2000hp at the rear wheels :idea: :lol:

I get 825fwhp and 660rwhp, the rpm's don't seem right coming in at 6250 for the shift and 6750 on the redline. I am sure it will be higher.

My 28x10 Hoosiers seemed to like around 12lbs. 15 seems a bit high.

9.87 @ 136 for 3400 pounds
I'd heard that lower tire pressure can affect chassis dyno results, maybe I read it somewhere? I'll ask the dyno operator and set my pressure at 12psi for the dyon session. I typically run 8 to 8.5psi at the track.

Did you get those numbers from a desk top dyno or program of some sort? Man that would be KILLER and very unexptected. My car should weigh between 3000# and 3100#. It weighed 2990# with the iron headed 428 and C6 transmission and one battery. I now have 2 batteries, aluminum headed 466 and C4 so I'm just guessing at the weight :?:
