I thought I would share this .
I surfaced a fuel injection intake valve and came across a super hard spot on the valve, I use an really old Black and Decker valve master machine , works great , I just lap the valves in a tiny bit to see where the valve is seating in the head , cleaned up on the 3rd attempt ,just curious as I have never come across this before , looking at it again it may be a low spot?, any ideas ?John

is it port injected or valve body??
Looks like a rust spot from sitting in the weather with out port injectors installed?

its a port injected type ,the valves did not have any rust on them .
I have included a cropped picture of the spot , thanks John

OH sorry I was looking at the brown and black spot.

Looks like a hard spot. I'd replace it... Not worth the hassle if it leaks down the road.
