Just joined and have already gotten some great advice from Scotty, the MadPorter on some intake questions.

Oooooo I love the exhaust work I have a x pipe on my mustang it makes a world of difference but I have a small block on my Stang

Is that a Richmond 6 speed?

Yep, Richmond 6- Speed.

How do you like it? I've been thinking about going for the 5 speed.

I love it! Shifts really nicely! Am a bit worried about the torque ratings of it though, think it is only rated at like 450ft/lbs, if I remember correctly. Not sure it is going to hold up to my motor very long haha. So far so good though, if it breaks guess I have to go with a Tremec.

Unless the Richmond 6spd was 1/2 the price of a Magnum there’s no way I’d choose the Richmond over the Tremec for a BB application. Just my $.02

Now if you’re talking 5spd’s I’ve not done much research on the TKX so I don’t know how customers are liking them.

FWIW I have a Magnum to go behind my 547 when the car goes back together.

I didn't originally build the car the tranny was in there when I got it, I have to say, the Richmond shifts GREAT. I love it. Hope it holds up

Just have to watch it putting the loud pedal down makes things happen REALLY quickly on the street. 😄
