Last month I posted a picture of our flywheel after it came apart during a test and tune. Took out the starter and bellhousing plate :x

Got a new flywheel from JW Performance, my brother up in NJ sent me another bellhousing plate (those puppies are hard to find) and the nice folks at JEGs sent me a shiney new starter. Car is running good and I thought that was the end of it.

Today, the UPS guy shows up with a new flywheel from Performance Automatic. What a surprise!

With all the "back and forth" lately, it's kind of nice to know that sometimes people do the right thing--I'm a happy camper

It really pays off in the long run to go with a GOOD company as far as that stuff goes. That was in NO way expected as PA wanted the flywheel back to try and figure out what happened. Maybe the little extra $$ up front is well worth the expense!!! We have also had ZERO issues with this tranmission in the last 4 years. Never been freshened up either. Plus it has one more gear than Damon's wheelie buggy!!

Yep, I got one I had behind a 477 running 9.70s in 1/4 never had a problem, Gary Rohe has one in his outlaw street freshens it at the end of every year, I'm sure you have seen him run.

Hey Bill, how are you settling in? Hope all is well and from talking to Damon, I'll see you at the tech seminar?!? Any chance we will see you at the BBF bash this year?

Hey Keith,
Yes it is going pretty well, but I still don't have the shop setup to where I can do the cages and such, but getting there. I do already have a room reserved, and looking forward to the Tech Seminar. And as far as the Bash goes, I will probably show up at Windy Hollow with my brother, since it is only about 45 minutes from his house. We were looking for you at the Bowling Green race, but I found out later that your dad's knee was giving problems.
I will say that I like it much better here than in Florida, but the cold still sucks as much as it did 20 years ago and my blood is thinner now.

Later,
Bill

PS: I have added a lot of the build up pictures of your car on Photobucket

Bill,

Glad to here all is well. I wish you all the best with setting up shop!! I wouldn't hesitate to send people your way and will when I can. Your workmanship is TOP NOTCH and everyone will get to see that at the bash!! I am flying down this coming weekend to see what this new carb will do. Hopefully, we will spray it a little to see what it will pick up. Pappa Bear got us in on a track rental so we can make quite a few passes. Again, THANK YOU for everything and looking forward to seeing you at the seminar.
