How much does your fox body weigh with the combo you are running? With a BBF and C-6,C-4,tubular K-member, stock K-member, gutted, not gutted,......... Some people say they can get 2600 without the driver real easy and others say 3000 in street trim. What is reality and fiction? If you want to give your engine combo and E.T. that would be great to.

2739# w/o driver, 86 notch, back half ladder bar, tubular k member, and a arms, BBF aluminum heads. All glass and door bars door panels and full factory dash,windshield wiper motor still in it, twin racing buckets , two group 24 batterys, glide , 9 inch rear.

81 Notch w/93 fiberglass doghouse, doors & deck lid...2340# empty...557... Alum CJ heads w/Glide...mild steel 2X3 full chassis, Strut front, Alum interior...one seat...two batteries...Has been 5.66 @ 123 on the usual fat bracket tune-up. Been 8.91 @ 151 in 1/4...4.10 gears on a 3600 launch. Oh yea, all throttle, no bottle.

1985 notch LX. 2680 w/o driver 460, C4, 9" rearend. All factory wiring removed and most of the interior stripped. Tubular k-member, 6-point cage, ladder bars, lexan windshield, factory hood.

GT adds ~200lb because of the body kit and options
Hatch added ~275, I forget for certain but it was considerable.
86 and earlier weighed less and had less rigid frames. Again I forget the amount.

84 hatch iron head 472 c-6 was 2415 no driver but i added some weight still under 2500 though. Its got a QA1 mild steel k member,a arms and coil overs its gutted,lexan all around manuel brakes,rack ,door bars gone and fiberglass hood. so far been 6.75 at 102 in the 1/8 and 10.57 at 128 in the 1/4 leaving at 13 to 1400 rpm cant stall any higer due to 11" tci.

79 hatch,rear half ladder bar. 460 w/dove-c's,glide,fiberglass doors and hood,tubular a-arms and coil overs,lexan all except windshield.12 point cage,14X32's.2 large batteries..weighs 2780 without a driver..best et 6.24 at 110mph

1990 LX,street car,power windows,power locks,power brakes,power mirrors,heater,radio,stock front seets,no rear seats,557 aluminum heads,C-6,9",stock dash,tubular K-member,full door panels,glass hood only,,,,3320 lbs without driver.

1984 GT T-top Car, A460 headed BBF, PG, S&W Back Half 9". Gutted interior, Removed Bumer Internals, Still Has all Factory Glass, Glass Glass Hood, 3082# with Driver.

1982 Fox body that looks like a 92....514 BBF with edelbrocks all N/A. Weighing 3250 with the driver with a c/4. best of 6.08 @114mph....Pump gas, street tires!

85 hatch with ladderbar 2x3 backhalf. 548ci N/A with Charlie's C-heads with two 4500's and a glide on a 29.5x10.5 slick. 8.38 @ 164.44mph with 2500 ft of air @ 3220lbs. Still has factory glass and a fiberglass hood.

1985 SVO. I bought it in '86. SCCA IT/PT-SS. Turbo 4 with FMS roller cam, 40lb inj., >.85ar turbo, cf2 clutch. Autopower cage, global west susp, Koni's, R' compound p245s. Holds a track record and a an inaugural racetrack win . Will 'drift' in 3rd gear. Lives in my backyard now. Tres...

heavy fox

got a 88 coupe with iron head 466 c4 all power stuff 3500 pounds loaded at BIR for the show and go.went 9.81 at 140.I should take some weight out of it?

I am just wanting 10.00's gutted :oops: 466ci flat top's, .000 deck,.690 solid roller, tunnel ram,(if I can run it wide open), C6, 4200 stall, 3.73 gears, C9VE's with stupid port job :shock: .2.20int/1.76exh, windage tray, and crank scraper. I might get there if I go on a diet :lol: .
