They sell several with different quality parts in them ... it's all about the parts not the company who sells them.
HOW STRONG IS PROBE ROTATING ASSEMBLY
Just wanting to know how strong are probe forged cranks, forged rods and forged pistons. How much hp can they take and can 200hp shot of nos be used with them. cheers

All i know is the crank is a PROBE 4340 and the rods are PROBE H BEAM steel rods if that helps. Its going in a 545ci with p51 heads, 10.7 comp, hyd roller cam 950 carb, victor manifold.

They just " MARKET THEM " in their kits.
"ReBox" is a better word.
Probe uses either Scat or RPM cranks and rods, customer choice. Pretty much the same as everyone else. Although lately it is whoever actually has the parts.
As to the original question....either will handle what you are doing.
