a guy wants to trade a weiand stealth intake for my tunnel ram. im not using the tunnel ram because it is too much. will a weiand intake be good on a bone stock motor. the motor is and 83 and its going in a 65 f100. the intake now is stock with a holley 600 on it.

Yup, that's just about what they're designed for. But I suggest a 750 carb tho.....

ill have to stay with the 600 for now until i sell the pair of 600's
The Stealth is a pretty agressive dual plane and you will be better leaving the stock intake on it for now. I would say that whether you trade or not depends on your future plans for the engine. If you want something radical then keep the tunnel ram. With a Stealth on a stock engine you will lose low end torque. I would say the Stealth would be best suited for a cam with ~250*@.050".
im gonna trade anyway. i have no need for the tunnel ram and dont ever plan on using it.

I put together an engine just so my car would move under it's own power. Stock short block, ported D3VE heads, Wieand 8021 CJ type intake, stock exhaust. As was said, NO torque down low! I mean a bunch! Could be different for the D0VE type intake but I think it is more due to the huge plenum volume.
