i have a 460 with cj heads and all the other goodies in a 70 cyclone with a four speed and 3.91 gears. when i built my motor i had a offy daul port on the shelf, so i installed it for the time being. i would like to switch to a better intake.i have a line on a offy port o sonic, i am not sure if this would be a good choice. I cant find any info about offy intakes, (no web page and real short info in the paw catalog ).anyone have a stock scj intake to trade for a daul port?

I know this may bring some criticism, but here's my opinion. I've never heard much good abou the Offy's compared to some of the newer designs. They definitely need to be ported to perform as well as the other types on the market. I'd personally go with a Weiand Stealth.

No criticism from me,Chris. I have said this a few times now on various boards. The vast majority of cars (especially real street cars) will always be better off with a good dual plane intake. Very few cars really work better with a single plan intake. Edelbrock Performer RPM and Weiand Stealth both have fans in the 385 camp but there are other good intakes about. I have a Performer RPM on mine after being disappointed by the Port-o-Sonic which now keeps the spiders company in my loft. HTH
Cheers, Martin.

The Stealth is available with CJ ports, but the stock SCJ works great also, I've been seeing them on eBay going pretty cheap. The SCJ intake has a regular Holley pattern. The CJ is the same but accepts a "spread bore" carb.
Sell that Dual Port on eBay... you'll be glad it's gone !
