The latest update is posted on www.nhra.com for all to view.Erica Enders has gotten the full time ride deal and the plan is to start the season with the A500 block and the E460 heads until he gets his first shipment of new parts from Ford in late 2009.

There is more just go to the website and update yourself. Thanks again,Timothy Blair Sr.

Yeah, and small steps are better than no steps at this point. Would be nice if they could have the engine for the start of the '09 season though. But, I'll bet when it's done the other guys better make sure their windshields are clean so they can see the back end of that Mustang better.

Excepting the fact the Mopar dropped all their nitro car support to back Allen & Roy Johnson's PS effort. They have the power, just need the chassis/driver consistency.

From what I have read, Ford has not put a dime in this pro stock effort , it's all privately funded

Just what does a [full time ride] for Enders mean these days?. 90 days, maybe 6 months? Just look at how Humphries Prostock effort is going. NHRA needs to make changes in prostock to make it alittle more economical to run, that kinda reflects the lack of sponsorship, that all teams will be facing this year!

MSN articals.

It says Ford only wants a line of credit incase one of the other big three goes bankrupt. (Supplier problems) It only goes to figure that they are in better shape since they say they don't need money.

All three of the automakers had ask for bailout money but of the three Ford had lost the least money and was asking for the least.

Now the Wall Street Journal had said that in there opinion ( WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT IT IS...AN OPINION) that Ford could survive without any bailout money but since the other two automakers were asking for the money Ford may as well take advantage of aquiring some of the bailout money since it is being presented. Timothy

Then, money could be disbursed within days to cash-starved General Motors Corp. and Chrysler LLC, while Ford Motor Co. — which has said it has enough liquidity to stay afloat — would be eligible for federal aid.
Any how Ford is in the best shape of the three! I'm glad to see them getting into Prostock.

First off, I wouldnt believe those articles on their opinions of fords finances. Second off the line of credit is essentially giving them the money. They will use it, it just wont be labeled as a bailout. so we shall see what happens.
