Ok.. So my car runs. (I'll post a video tomorrow). However, I am having a fuel leak.
Where? At the fitting going into the fuel pump. Pump is a summit mech pump.. 1/4" NPT fittings. I have a 1/4" NPT male to 3/8", well "standard flared line" female, fitting.. the male side into the pump pump was dripping a bit. I removed the white teflon tape I used originally... and now the damn thing urinates like my cat, and I have the fitting cranked in.

Is there some sort of sealant I can use on this?

get some liquid teflon from a parts store,, clean the pump and fitting. and use that on the threads. then let it set up and cure for a short time. shouldnt have any problems after that..

First that using tread tape on any alloy fitting is a big NO NO period. You should always use liquid tread sealant, there is not much stretch or crush on alloy fitting and any tape will split the fitting and make it leak. Permatex, or some simular make a liquid teflon sealer and it works great. I think you may have cracked your fuel pump housing and it you can't get it to seal you get to buy a new one. Good Luck
