Lem, inlet valves solved the problem

1910 Views 4 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  Lem Evans
Lem,

I installed new inlet valves in the 950 and the flooding stopped. The old ones were only about three months old, but the car sat for a month so they may have deteriorated.

My M60882 120 GPH pump is marginal with my engine. You mentioned using the M61044 172 GPH with good results. Will it hold up to street driving, or is it race only? Can it be converted to 8 AN inlet and 6 AN outlet, or would that choke it down too much?

Thanks,
James

172 gpm pump

that is one of the things that are great about it...it comes with -10 inlet and -8 outlet installed from the mfr . You may change the fittings to suit .

How about street use?

Lem,

Are there any particular limitation about using the 172 gph for street use?

Are the ports on the pump 1/2 npt?

Thanks,
James
used them mostly on boats . I do not know why a car would make a diff . 3/8" NPT , as I recall .
