Fords. We are located in the WV area and the only thing these shops know are SBC. and stock motors. Any recommendations for a good Ford Shop?
Has anyone ever done business with East Side Machine, Bill Mathias out of Waynesburg, Virginia? Was in his shop several years ago and he had several big inch motors for truck pulling and dragging. Seemed to know his stuff, but we also noticed several oil pans with major holes and broken rods and pistons nearby. Maybe just coincidence but I don't want my hard earned cash in the same dumpster.
Any help would be appreciated.

Eastside machine

They built one motor for me years ago.... Not enough clearance between the pistons and the heads. Bent every rod in the motor. They assembled the motor, all i did was put it in. They would not fix the problem and I ate it. Another friend of mine had them do a motor. It was a 600" with a new A460 block. The block was decked wrong and he ended up running two different thickness copper head gaskets to make the heads fit...Hope this is enough...
