OK my first question is why is a dually F250 better then a single F250. I've been hauling a 45' Tri axle trailer with my 2001 F250 for all it's 185,000 mile life. Complete rig weights 30,000#. Never had any issues with axle bearings. I get 60,000 miles out of my tires.

Where can you get a Complete Dually Axle any Big Truck Bone yard should be able to fix you up.

I have been out of the trailer bus. for years, but some states were requiring duel wheels on trucks with over 24' trailers then.

Probably not a big deal, but you will have to carry two different spare tires, unless you get the 1 ton front hubs to.

Michigan Truck Parts in Westland Michigan. Or you can purchase some good wheel adapters like Arrowcraft, they are in Michigan too. We have run them on our dually van for over 200,000 miles now, no issues. They are extremely strong. You can also get some for the front if you want to run dually wheels all the way around.

You should be able to convert your current axle to a dually. I cant remember the name of the company its in Michigan somewere. They have conversion kits for a lot of vehicles from compact trucks to vans. Used them to convert a 88 Ranger into a dually. Some with 250 axles you just need the wheels and fenders. I have a set of dually eheels and could convert my 70 mustang to a dually just bolting them on.
I own a dually for quite some time. It is so much more stable towing I wouldnt care to own a single rear wheel F350 for towing again.

Arrowcraft is the company for spacers.
