Anybody have trouble with 2&4 main bearings showing high load 4 being the worst done covered a lot of normal stuff
Clearance from 2.7 to 3.5
Meaner oil pump 90 psi at 6000
It’s a Motorsports block
Started with Eagle crank & rods now have a Crower Billit crank and rods
This is in a marine application with turbos
The last time it was not over 5000 rpms

When I used the stock firing order in my 680 pullers it was bad, better with a Crower with center counter weights. When I switched to a 2--8 swap cam it got much better. The newest motors have the 5-3 and 4-7 swap (Cleveland order) and the bearing problem has went away. I used to blame it on the 100+ pounds of slipper clutch hanging on the crank, but no.
