Broke my bellhousing. The crank is in three pieces and a lot more ****. Heads didn't get touch and the block actually looks good but I haven't took the 2 rods and piston out that broke so I don't know what those cylinders look like.

Sorry to see that, hopefully the block is OK, noticed the screw ins and cross bolts, is it an original 427 block?

It's a 427 sideoilier block which is for sale along with every other FE part I own. The motor was 487ci. Ran high 6.30's and low 6.40'[email protected] in the 1/8 at 3350lbs.

I'm going to a 460. I'm taking my dad 503ci with CJ heads out of his car and sticking it in mine and building him a 528ci A headed motor. His 503ci went 9.0'[email protected] at 2600lbs

I hope that the rear trans mount wasn't a solid mount. That could be the cause.

No it's not solid. First run on this motor ever was June 9, 2007 and the Last run was April 25, 2009. This was entered in 2 classes racing every other weekend. I would put 25 runs on it on a weekend if I did good that weekend. I wont be double entering the same car anymore since I'll be drive my dads car also.
