I need new ones this season and I'm wondering which ones to get ..

I have 2 1150 CCA batteries now .


One runs the Starter and Ignition the other runs my Electric power steering.
But I use the same alternator to charge them back up, So I guess it could suck the power from both batteries at times to run the power steering.

Power steering is a Electric hydraulics pump that does suck a lot of juice to run. So I Don't know if I should have a deep cell on that System, as it's a continuous draw type motor.
Or should I have separate alternators to charge each systems by themselves.

Then which batteries out there have the best bang for the buck .
I only got 4 seasons out of the two I have on there now. And if my Memoir's serve me right I think I paid $120.00 a piece for them .

I would think a marine starting battery for your starter/ignition and a deep cycle battery for your steering would be the hot ticket, this is basically how a motorhome is set-up, starting batt for eng/ign and deep cycle for the cabin.
I don't have a particular direction on brand, but I've had great luck with Trojan brand batteries for my Dragboat, it's 950cca marine starting battery that turns over a 12:1 CR 440 BBC with timing locked out at 35 degrees.

Interstate Batteries makes what are called Extended Cycle Batts, made for snowplow trucks. Take the constant charging and recharging better. Also make sure you have a momentary switch as well as a constant on switch for your steering. When you need steering assist, just touch the button, uses alot less juice that way, EXCEPT when you are going down the track of course!

I use an Optima yellow top in my bronco, deep cycle, and it works great. I would think in a dual battery set up a red top for starting and a yellow for the power steering would be a good setup too. Going on 3 years on the current yellow and never put the charger to it yet.
