Old combo went 11.80 at 118 in a 2002 Mustang with a t56 at 3440lbs

New combo is a

466cui.
Stock Block
Forged H beams
Srp Forged pistons
HV Melling pump

Heads are SCJ Ported (max- [email protected] [email protected]?)
Ti Retainers, roller spring set.
Long tube fox swap headers (hooker)
Solid Roller cam (not chosen yet)
Domi 1050 carb
Victor Intake, with a two inch spacer.
Electric water pump

This time the car will have motor plates, and a drag race suspension (double rears with single fronts) and correct spring rates.

taken 375 pounds out of the car so far over the past year. Full rewire,

Pics will come once some real work begins

Another piece of the puzzle is on the way a Neal Racing Built Powerglide with a BBF bell.

Butterbean- I was joking on the 3-4 years deal. It just seems that long at this point!

well keep us posted and pics if you can, on mine I was not that hip on here when I built the motor but I will be starting a new build for the car soon (engine and tranny) the tranny is starting now T-400 w/brake and 8" converter the motor will be 4.300 or 4.500 stroke with aluminum eddy RPM's, I've already got,

Hey frank is the mustang still full body or do you have fiberglass parts?
Where did you pull weight from if you don't mind me asking.

I would like to get mine down to around 3k or 2,900 lbs any tips would be great if you don't care to share some.

Block will be back from the machine next week.

Getting a cleaning, line hone for arp main studs.
Does anyone make a oil pan stud kit for these motors? Check with arp, but no premade kit.

Gonna need to pick out the cam and convertor real soon
